Thanks Ali. I will have a go at getting to grips with Forum. Nice to know something this supportive is so close. Will continue to use as I have a v long way to go. S
Ali1511 on Sunday 10 January 2010 - 19:25:16
PS you'll be amazed at how supportive people are on here. We all want the best for each other. Its quite incredible that you get soo much support from strangers really.
Ali1511 on Sunday 10 January 2010 - 19:24:23
Susannah if you blog or post on the forum, you will get responses from other people.
I know that skin has less elasticity as we get older, and things can look a bit empty at first, but I'm reliably informed within 3-6 months things will perk back up All I can advise really is patience and lots of moisturiser
susannah on Sunday 10 January 2010 - 19:22:47
j.cauldwell - same question. Hope you can help. Much appreciated...Su
Ali1511 on Sunday 10 January 2010 - 19:22:17
Fantastic news, well done you.
I'm back in foundation, came off plan (not that I was on it much) in Nov, gained 2 stone but almost lost one since Monday Managing to remain abstinent, its not easy but I keep getting on the scales to spur me on
j.cauldwell on Sunday 10 January 2010 - 19:20:18
Hi ali, i am full of cold but brilliant ty! I put half a pound on over xmas and new year! That had 2 more pounds has gone! How are you doing hun?
susannah on Sunday 10 January 2010 - 19:20:02
Thanks. I joined LL early Sept and have had a good weight loss but no one in my class is as old as me! I am seeking an older (retirned) lady to chat with as I have a couple of problems I am not coping well with, e.g. turkey neck! Would love to chat with someone who understands this and also my ups and downs. What do you think Ali? Su
j.cauldwell on Sunday 10 January 2010 - 19:19:06
ask anything you want
Ali1511 on Sunday 10 January 2010 - 19:17:40

j.cauldwell on Sunday 10 January 2010 - 19:09:20

Ali1511 on Sunday 10 January 2010 - 19:07:50
Hi Susannah
susannah on Sunday 10 January 2010 - 19:04:27
Is there anyone out there?!?
shish60 on Sunday 10 January 2010 - 18:20:06
Hi Ali - no worries I have some spare - I was just thinking in the long run or for those who don't have spare. I shall miss the Chilli con Carne and the meeting which I find so helpful for encouragement but hey ho onwards and downwards as someone once said - ha!!
Ali1511 on Sunday 10 January 2010 - 15:19:28
and thanks for the comments, i'm pretty chuffed.
I only ask cos there might be another member nearby with some spare packs
Ali1511 on Sunday 10 January 2010 - 15:18:40
Whereabouts are you shish?
shish60 on Sunday 10 January 2010 - 14:47:44
Well done ali - that's fab. Yes I did the same as you - Foundation great and then it all seemed to go pear shaped. You haven't put too much on and should lose that soon especially at the rate you're going. Keep us postd - silly thing to say as I'm sure you will be so proud - I would be. Thanks for advice ref packs - will get in touch with Counsellor if weather does not improve.
Ali1511 on Sunday 10 January 2010 - 14:42:23
Its all psychological. I'm doing 14 weeks foundation then going into RTM.
Having the end in sight really helps. I did well in Foundation the first time round, but developers was awful....so open-ended and lots of changes to groups which didn't help either
Ali1511 on Sunday 10 January 2010 - 14:41:08
i've got my head on the job.
I did abstinence last year on and off from Jan to Nov, lost 6 stone, then put 2 back on from Nov to Jan. According to my scales I've lost a stone this week, but weigh in tomorrow night will confirm it
Lily xx on Sunday 10 January 2010 - 14:10:51
yay well done ali

Shish phone your LLC and see what they say.

Shish is there a counsellor nearer you that you can walk to? Mine lives on the next estate from me so was happy to drop some in if I needed them. I am now a bit of a wuss where snow is concerned. Otherwise I was going to walk to my local one. Otherwise I think you just do the best you can x
shish60 on Sunday 10 January 2010 - 09:52:10
Good morning. How does everyone like this snow? What happens if you have no packs and can't get to counsellor?
spinmum on Sunday 10 January 2010 - 07:59:35
Ali, i think the difference is in the game, the board itself is the same, you can always buy the game later? I;ve just got Biggest Loser for the Wii and use it with the board, enjoying that at the moment
