Hi,

I lost 2.5lbs this week - can you believe I actually feel disappointed! On WW etc that would have been a really good week.

Anyway, it got me thinking that we have quite a bit of experience between us. How about creating a sticky (if Admin allow) with everyone's tips on speeding up our weight loss? The sort of thing I was thinking of was the great tip posted earlier about cutting out the bars if they are making you hungry, or if you are stuck on slo-mo weight loss. Also about increasing water drinking gradually to up to 7 litres a day etc.

What do you think?

Shrinkin' (Not quite so) Fast.

I know, I only lost 2lb's this week and it's so upsetting. My counsellor assured me it's to do with my period (sorry if too much information!) but I still had the hump. I'd be interested in sharing tips...as soon as I have any!! Good luck for the coming week Shrinkin' Fast!

Another tip:

WALK, WALK, WALK!!

I walked about 3.5 miles yesterday and according to my scales (morning of walk versus morning after walk) I lost 1.5 lbs. I did not change anything else in my routine.

Nettle tea is allowed and this detoxifies the body and gets rid of excess fluid. Perfect if you're due on and are concerned you're not going to get a good loss.

I didn't realise the bars made you feel hungrier. I've noticed yesterday and tonight that i was feeling hungry around tea time which i wasn't first four nights, thats just since i introduced the bars.

I'd say exercising,..... have we forgotten? We can do that and it's fun, and takes away times when you might want to be eating! Plus every 3500 calories you burn is another lb!!

The thing with the bars is the carb content, i beleive, and it is this that makes you hungry, or crave other carbs. The lowest carb value is in the nut crunch bars... so if you like them they are good to stick to.

Good luck all!

I think that warm water helps more as the cold water slows down themetobolism, room temperature is best for you. And walking does really help!
