I think the correct venacular is "hank marvin !!!" I cannot stop thinking about food....I found myself dreaming of ...golden crusted filet-o-fish (I don't even like McDonald's food it gives me McBelly) ...am fantasising about piping hot pizza from Domino's drippng with warm cheese and succulent slices of ham, sausage, pepperoni, beef ...you see where I am going with this. I had a nightmare the first day ..felt weak , dizzy and lightheaded at first and could not concentrate....water intake helped but hunger was my overwhelming emotion. I am also weak and very tired I feel like ...well I fell like someone who has not eaten ! was so tired when I got home I just went to bed and did not even finish my last food pack. Started day 2 positively enough but still obsessed about greasy stinking doner and chicken kebab for the whole day....also very hungry. Day 3 disasterous ...spilt foodpack all over the floor (which I attribute to incredible fatigue) jumped on scales at home and convinced I have lost no weight whatsoever !...still thinking of food food food ...and still feel like a nine stone weakling in a much much larger body .... I hope for my sake this gets a lot better

You're not alone with this and as you get more into it you'll start thinking about healthier foods that you can't wait to start cooking for yourself once you are the weight you're after. 2) Eat all your foodpacks, whether you're tired or not. You want to keep your body in ketosis not starvation. Ketosis will burn fat, starvation will store fat. 3) Of course you're weak and tired. You've gone from however many calories you used to have to 500 total a day (and you're not even having all of those). Your body needs to get used to it. Apparently it takes most people about 3-5 days to get through it, I cant say for myself as I personally never had any problems the first week. It's tough but it's a LOT easier than losing the weight through diet and exercise so it's worth sticking to. Good luck.

All the crap that you've eaten lately leaves toxins in your body. So now your body is detoxing and has to get rid of those toxins. Its also used to a heavy dose of carbohydrate every day and now its not getting them Headaches are carb withdrawal and/or dehydration. You've got 2 more days at the most of feeling hungry and crap. So do what it takes to get through. Keep yourself busy, if your tired, have a nap. Distraction works the best. Drink lots of allowed stuff. Tea, coffee, herbal tea, water etc. Don't drink more than a litre an hour, otherwise you can make yourself poorly. By Monday you'll be on fat burning, have loads of energy, sleep better and will start shrinking. I know its tough, but please keep going, it will be so worth it Ali Image: http://tickers.TickerFactory.com/ezt/t/w3GyLtz/weight.png

I lot over 12 stone and just had a little way to go when I was rushed to hospital for emergency surgery so told not to do the plan for 3 months. I say I am on restart as I am not allowed to do total abstinence until at least 20th August. I am on low carb dieting with some packs and even that, from the junk I had started eating again gave me the light headed giddy headache feelings. But as Ali said, it is so worth it and I know from last year it will go and then you go on a kind of high. I absolutely loved abstinence and the weight loss each week and am so glad to be back. Loss in the last 24 hours is a pound already so I feel good about that. Go gently with yourself, you are on the right route. the food dreams will fade I promise when the counselling kicks in. You will then having a bigger dream in front of you, one that WILL come true, a new you!
