I'm 29 and want to lose 4 stone by my 30th birthday in February . I've been overweight for about 8 years now and am tired of faffing around on weight watchers and just want to get the weight off and get on with my life !

My friend has lost loads of weight on LL and totally inspired me to do it too - am really excited but a bit scared of how hard it will be . However , I feel relieved that LL can give me a way to get out of my constant cycle of dieting and bingeing . Wish me luck !

Hmm - well haven't blogged for a while but started RTM around 2 weeks ago and its going well. I'm really enjoying the protein stuff (don't want t be too graphic about food!) but am completely sick of salad I have to say.

* Day 95 - I did it! [ Show blog ]
I had my last foundation class today and I did it! I lost 4 pounds this week which puts me 1 pound below my target to begin RTM (my ticker shows I have a few pounds left to go which I hopefully will lose on RTM). I had agreed with myself that I would start RTM at 11 stone and I am now 10 stone 13 pounds. I have absolutely no memories of ever being 10 stone something it must have been when I was 15...

* Day 91 - Couldn't resist a mid-week weigh in! [ Show blog ]
So I couldn't resist a mid-week weigh in - have lost 1 more pound only 2 to go now. This last bit is torturous! However, I now know that whatever happens I will definitely start RTM next Thursday so at least I haev something to aim for.

I'm so gutted, really hoped I would make my 11 stone goal for starting RTM today but it was not to be. I only lost 1lb grrr....I needed to lose 4 which was a long shot at the moment but I have done everything I could this week to maximise weight loss but have ended up having the lowest weight loss since I started! Just updating my blog as I had another weigh in. I got weighed early as I had heard weather was going to be really bad today and I really didn't want to wait any longer for a weigh in as I had missed 2 over Xmas. However, weather is not bad today so I went to normal weigh in today and had lost another 4 pounds since Friday night! Not totally sure how that happened but am very pleased.

* Day 79 - Nearly there! [ Show blog ]
I'm back ! Have made it through Xmas and New Year abstinent with no lapses. Can't believe I did it - it was sooo hard at times but I am so pleased now. I have just had a weigh in after missing the last 2 and have lost 7lbs. Am very pleased although would have been more pleased with 9lbs! This means I am 8lbs from my target to start RTM - I can't wait.

I did it ! I made it through Christmas day abstinent . I'm so pleased with myself ! It was hard as everyone else ate and drank all day but I felt fantastic in my small size dress . And the best Xmas present was that I weighed under 12 stone on the scales for the first time in about 10 years so that spurred me on to make it through the day .

Another good weigh in - 5lbs lost which means I have a BMI of 25.7 - so close to healthy!!!

Aaagh! I want to eat so badly! Have a day off work today at home with no kids and its so hard not to eat. I just want to relax in front of the telly and snack. Its not the same without food!

Day 15 - My first major wobble! [ Show blog ]
There is a course running on site at work today. Went down to help sort out teas and coffees and found myself alone with a tray of lovely sandwiches left from their lunch and some biscuits. There is something more special about a sandwich when its cut into triangles!

Went for a weigh in today and have lost 4 pounds so far -which is brilliant but deserved as I have been on a liquid diet for 3 days !

My LLC nearly let me have the bars but then said I need to wait until Wednesday pop in - gutted ! Ah well at least it's something to look forward to .

I hadn't realised how much I relied on food as something to do. I haven't known what to do with myself today without it. I feel a bit sad saying it but I feel I have nothing to look forward to in the day!
